EMILY MOLE | DIRECTOR-AT-LARGE

Emily lives in Edmonton with her husband, Vice-President Braden Mole. This is her fourth year serving on the Inclusion Edmonton Region board. She also serves at the board’s Social Media Manager. Emily loves karaoke, playing guitar, her cat Precious, and going out in community to do fun things.

Emily completed two years of studies in social work at MacEwan University, with support from the inclusive post-secondary education.

Emily believes that inclusion is the only way to go! She has personally experienced both the joys and the barriers of pursuing an inclusive life. She fought to have an inclusive life, which didn’t come easily. She is passionate about helping others and advocating for change. She brings a deep understanding of the value of inclusion through her lived experience with segregated placements and the foster care system. Emily currently works as a Seniors Companion and enjoys the one-on-one aspect of her role, which includes taking her clients out for walks, playing games, and having conversations.
